Poor sleep affects our level of energy, concentration, mood and appetite. For some of us, we have a mind that doesn’t seem able to switch off at bedtime so we lie awake for hours when we could be getting quality sleep. For others, stress or lifestyle habits can have us waking at 3am unable to get back to sleep. We need that deeper level of sleep to really rejuvenates us for the next day.
We don’t all need the same amount of sleep but in balance, we are all able to fall asleep easily and sleep deeply. No matter what people come for treatment for, part of balancing the body will include improved and deeper sleep enabling them to awaken feeling refreshed and rested.
